    Customer service was excellent. However, I was especially surprised to find the product I needed when other Lowes stores didn't have it, and Home Depot or DeNault's Hardware or Crown Hardware didn't have it, either. I was a happy camper.

    Update: 12/30: LOWES REFUSING TO TAKE BACK ANY "SEASONAL" ITEMS AFTER Dec 26; said they had it "posted all over the store"...total LIE...no one ever stated that to me, never came across any signs stating this policy, never had anyone bring this up...NO MORE WITH LOWES! Rude rude people. The buck stops here! Most people in this area are egar to see Lowes replaced with Home Depot! Brand new set of LED Christmas lights...never been out of the package...Lowes REFUSES TO TAKE THEM! Been going to this Lowes in RSM for years now. Some of the people who work there are pretty nice but some of the people I've checked out with are not very professional and are actually very rude. I went to return a small item I bought recently after spending hundreds of dollars in the past several weeks at the store and online. I had forgotten my stack of recites in the car but was pretty sure about which card I had used for this particularly small purchase...so I slide my debit card as the girl at the customer service desk directed...after doing so...she told me.."No, it's not on this card"...where as I continued to try several others cards...all of which she stated to me were not the card used for the purchase...odd...I knew I didn't pay with cash. So I went out to my car and retrieved the recites...the whole stalk of them and handed them to her...she found the purchase and credited it...TO THE FIRST CARD I HAD TOLD HER IT WAS ON! I was miffed as the girl had attitude and didn't do anything to show me she was trying to help me. I asked for the manager and after waiting 5 minutes ended up speaking to "Dirk" AFTER he first spoke to the girl I was dealing with at the customer service counter...yes, the same one who didn't feel it necessary to call anyone for assistance when having trouble with the return transaction after I scanned 3 of my personal credit cards! Well Dirk apparently doesn't listen very well and told me, "well if the transaction doesn't show on your credit card how are we supposed to know you aren't committing FRAUD!?"...WHAT.!!?..fraud? The transaction WAS on the FIRST CARD I scanned for them and I had told him that!! Pay attention! I then went on to tell him that some of the people working at Lowes aren't very customer oriented as well as some of Lowes policies are ridiculous..that I almost bought a small hand-vacuum a couple weeks ago with Lowes but after being told that they would only stand behind this $70 hand-vac for 30 days after which if something went wrong with it I would have to deal with the manufacturer.(that means paying for shipping across the country for repairs)..he said "You won't find any retailer who will go beyond 30 days!" I disagreed and told him there are several I can think of off the top of my head who will allow at least 90 days and one even for up to a year...without any special extended warrantee! He still disagreed and totally missed the point as he continued to agrue with me about what I already knew for fact! I'm done even considering Lowes for ANY major purchases...any important purchases. Customer service in this store has always been if'y...Any major purchase...do yourself a favor and go else where for more informed and professional help and better policies if something should go wrong!!
